Definition of Base: Substance used to increase the swimming pools pH. The pH increaser is a chemical product which have a pH higher than 7.0. The base is neutralized with an acid. e.g : Sodium Carbonates Family ( Carbonate, Bicarbonate, Sesquicarbonate)
